Cost of Tax Cuts for the Wealthiest Americans Since 2001

Watch all the money the government has lost to tax cuts for the wealthy add up right before your eyes. Watch it add up while people go hungry and shelters fill up and turn away the homeless. While people die because they can’t afford health care. While our schools struggle and fall behind with overcrowded classrooms and underpaid teachers. While our roads and pipes and buildings crumble…. And even if tax cuts were something we could afford, they should be going to those who need it most, not those who have enough to own their own islands.
